T5 fluorescent lamps are very efficient and sleek light tubes, which provide excellent quality light with a lifespan of over 15,000 hours in comparison to the 7,000 hours of older lamps. The T5 gives energy savings up to 65% and is environmentally friendly, containing 38% less glass and very a little mercury compared to the old tubes.

Often the problem with using the energy efficient T5 tubes in existing fittings is simply that they do not fit. The lengths, the connections and the ballast used are all different. This is where the adaptor wins, it is the simplest and most economical way to use energy-saving T5 lamps in existing fittings, it is an ideal way for any organisation, large or small; to take advantage of improved lighting levels and lower energy usage whilst reducing their Carbon Footprint.
